Katana 18V Charge-All skins (individual tools) come with a 5 year (3+2 year) warranty from date of purchase. 3 year standard warranty with the option to register your product online at www.katanapowertools.com.au/register-tool to receive an additional 2 years free of charge. Products must be registered within 30 days from date of purchase to qualify for the warranty extension.
Katana 18V Charge-All batteries and chargers come with a 3 year warranty from date of purchase.
Katana products offer a Do It Yourself (DIY) warranty and are not intended for commercial or trade use.
How do I return a product for warranty?
- If a fault occurs within 3 years of date of purchase . please head to the “Resources” section on the website and fill out the details of the “Claims Form”. A Customer Service Team Member will contact you with an outcome as soon as possible and/or
- If fault occurs between 3 and 5 years from the date of purchase and you have registered the product at ‘katanapowertools.com.au‘, log into your Katana Power Tools account. Once you have navigated to the My Account page, you will need to click on “Warranty Registration” and locate the product registration for the product in question. Then select ‘View Receipt’ and save the file/image to your device. The registration confirmation is proof of purchase and extended warranty.
- If fault occurs after 3 years of date of purchase but you did not register your product online at ‘katanapowertools.com.au‘, the product is no longer covered by warranty. Consumer guarantee may still apply in accordance with Australian Consumer Law; and
- Provide Axis Brands any further information when requested.
You are responsible for all costs incurred by you to return the Katana Product to Axis Brands and all other costs you incur in making a claim under this warranty.

I have a product that needs to be repaired what do I do?
If you have a damaged or faulty product under warranty, return it to your place of purchase where if the product is deemed warrantable, you will receive a refund or replacement.
How do I create a Katana Powertools account?
To create a Katana Powertools account, go to https://www.katanapowertools.com.au/my-account. Next, sign up using a valid email account. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete your account creation.
I registered my tool and have not received any warranty?
Registering your tool within 30 days of your date of purchase automatically entitles you to an additional 2 years warranty (5 years total) on all skins. This can be done by submitting this form on Tool Registration page here.
Batteries and Chargers come with a 3 year warranty and do not qualify for warranty extension.
What is valid proof of purchase?
Valid proof of purchase is the original printed receipt from the store where the product was purchased or the registration confirmation available in your Katana Powertools account. If you are claiming a warranty after 3 years from the date of purchase you must present your registration confirmation as evidence of the extended warranty.
Where can I find the model number of my tool?
The model number of the tool is on the packaging, in the manual and also on the black specifications label on the product.

Why do I need to provide a batch code?
Providing a batch code allows us to track any warranty issues to a specific batch of tools. This allows us to easily identify the age of a product and for any reason if there was an unforeseen problem, we could address the affected products based on their batch code. We can then work with our manufacturing partners to determine where the fault occurred and rectify it immediately, ensuring we provide the best possible product.
